Handbook 1 "LUDA: The Challenge They Pose": provides a summary of what is understood about LUDAs, the problems they pose and solution the compendium advances to combat them.
             
 
Handbook 2 "Understanding LUDAs": describes in detail the nature of LUDAs, why they exist, the problems the cause and particular challenges this poses cities.
             
 
Handbook 3 "A Community-based Approach to Sustainable Urban Regeneration": sets out the community-based approach to sustainable urban regeneration offered as a solution to the problems LUDAs cause. This Handbook draws attention to the key role that participation can play in unlocking the potential which exists for communities to solve the problems LUDAs pose and what futures workshops can contribute to this process as part of the drive towards sustainable regeneration.
             
 
Handbook 4 "Integrating Assessment into Sustainable Urban Regeneration": details how to assess the sustainability of the urban regeneration process providing the solution to the problems LUDAs cause. This Handbook provides a detailed account of where, when and how to asses the sustainability of the LUDA regeneration process.
             
 
Handbook 5 "The LUDA Assessment Decision Support System": provides users with in-depth guidance on the methods and techniques to use in the assessment of sustainability in the LUDA regeneration process. This material is of a highly technical nature and is intended for a professional audience.
             
 
Handbook 6 " Good Practice Case Studies ": this handbook provides case-study examples of how cities have responded to the challenge LUDAs pose. The case studies reveal a variety of experiences and provide an insight into different aspects of the regeneration process. and steps taken to make it sustainable. The case studies support the material presented in handbooks 2, 3, 4 and 5, and can be accessed through these handbooks.
             
 
Handbook 7 "Monitoring of the Quality of Life in LUDA": puts a focus on monitoring quality of life in LUDA. This handbook introduces the definition of monitoring and its challenges for the monitoring quality of life in urban regeneration. The Handbook delivers also detailed guidelines on how to elaborate a system for monitoring quality of life in LUDA.
